Someone Used my Check Card !

I was checking my accounts last night online

I noticed "CKCD AUTH 07/11 NAPSTER, LLC"

I'm like Napster what the fuck is that ? I have iTunes I'm raking my brain..then I noticed the date was 7/11 I didn't even have my cable modem working that night !

It was down for 2 days..thats a whole other story

I called the bank right away and canceled my card..this is the 2nd time this has happened to me

Mother Fuckers !!

P.S. Luckily I found the probelm and it only cost me a $1

    2nd time? that is scary...Are you trying to investigate what is happening. I don't know I am wary of online banking..Im very old fashioned..I go to the bank..lol. I really don't like using my credit cards online but I try to use the same one for online purchases.

    I don't know if there is a Commerce bank in your area, but i would recommend there Check card. I've never had a problem with it, nor have any of my friends.

    Yup 2nd time !

    I do not make any transactions online with my check card except with the 10C

    Thats what I've been doing is using my AMEX online...of course that never gets stolen...its always my debit card :rolleyes:

    Edit : Also I have the number for Napster's Customer Service I'm going to try and find out some info from them...and file an e-form they call it with Commerce and they investigate also

    I have my new card already

    No other charges have shown up since I canceled..I was still nervous thinking their might be some transactions pending

    Funny enough I have Commerce

    Its the 2nd time with them I've had a problem

    I hope there isn't any inside jobs going on locally ?

    In college I got a notice from Chase that someone was using my credit card in Turkey! I guess the fucker bought over $3000 in goods from some clothing shop in Turkey. WTF!?!?!

    Since then I've become really, really careful about security on my computer.


    I think that Identity thieves should be prosecuted not only as felons, but have just incredible punishment against them. I'm talking 20 years at least!

    CB is very good they even call me when some banking trends I've had changed. They check to make sure I'm the one using my card, open 7 days a week I can't beat them for a second bank other than my credit union.

    Update -

    I called Napster this morning and the woman said that my debit card number and 5 others had been black listed by Napster

    Apparently the dude had a bunch of Debit card Numbers to choose from and Napster flagged them all after they couldn't provide enough information

    She said the $.99 would be wiped from my account in 3-5 days

    I smell Inside Job....for someone to have numerous debit card members that's crazy
