Doesn't always happen this way...

Your last week at work before vacation is SO FUCKING BUSY !!!

Maybe because you're in vacation mode and don't fell like working ?

But it always seems everything needs to get done that week !

My drinking team has a hockey problem

    Yeah & then it's the same thing when you get back because nothing has been done while you're gone. At least where I work anyway

    Yes - and I always get handed last minute projects or things that are due while I'll be away. I probably add more pressure to it cause I want to finish everything before I leave so it's not there waiting for me when I get back. You will get through it. Sounds like your vacation awaits! Have a good time wherever you're going :)

    No one picks up any slack for you....so you're buried when you come back !

    I was out Friday last week...I turned over a project that I was working on to someone to help until Monday when I came back....I get back and get "I didn't have a chance to pick this up." :mad:

    This person never helps out !

    That's how I am....get everything done (hopefully) before I leave

    I know for sure by the end of the week I'll get something else to work on !

    I'm heading to Daytona Beach FL !! :)

    Exactly. My person that never helps out is also the only person in the office that does the same job as me. So I have no choice but to give it to her, knowing she won't "have to time to get to it"

    Nice! Well just do what you can now...and then LEAVE it! I've never been to Daytona...but I'm sure it's gotta be better than the jersey shore ;) Have a great time!

    I think the sand in my backyard is better then the beaches in Jersey ;)

    Crazy part is they don't charge you to be on the beach !! Can you imagine ??

    They drive on the beach too....2 lanes

    Zoso was shocked to have to pay to get on the beach in jersey. I mean they have some great beaches in oz...and they're FREE!!! Then you come to jersey and you gotta pay to watch the sewage float by :p

    actually i experienced the same thing a couple weeks ago....the friday before vacation i was working until 8pm.....and even then i had to work a little on my vacation as well....:(

    You can rent quads and drive up and down the beach for fun or bring your own car on

    Edit : Only in Jersey a "Public" beach you pay for

    I've been called on vacation ! Its like what can I do from here ???

    I always pick the busiest weeks to go on vacation (or so it seems)...to the point where I feel guilty for leaving (even though I shouldn't).
