Okay - so the song "Royal Orleans" was almost RUINED for me when I was told that I have been singing it wrong my WHOLE LIFE!

I always thought that the lyric was:

"New Orleans queens, sure know how to schmooze it
Maybe for some that seems alright
When I step out, strut down with my sugar
She best not walk dress'd all in white"

apparently I was wrong. and HERE IS THE RIDICULOUS PART:
the line is actually:

"New Orleans queens, sure know how to schmooze it
Maybe for some that seems alright
When I step out, strut down with my sugar
She'd best not talk like Barry White!"

WHAT??? I was like um, NO WAY! and woah, I was wrong. holy crap. I lost 20 bucks! so, now I am looking through the Zep catalog since, I am totally unsure of what the hell Robert Plant is saying.

So, Have you ever argued about a line in a movie, song, or t.v. show that you were actually wrong about?

Back in high school blows were almost thrown between my best friend and I over the line of Dirty Frank "There goes another turned into crust". Don't even remember what he thought it said, but his ass was wrong!!!! :D
    "The leads are weak!"

"The leads are weak? Fuckin' leads are weak? You're Weak! I've Been in this business 15 years"

    "What's your name?"

    "FUCK YOU! THAT"S MY NAME!"
  • And then there was the Chili Peppers: "Bob Marley, rolling in a bucket..."
  • And then there was the Chili Peppers: "Bob Marley, rolling in a bucket..."

wait, that's wrong? what the hell do they really say???

Someone once bet me that the line in the Fall Out Boy song, "Sugar we're going down" was actually:

Is this more than you bargained for yet
Oh don't mind me I'm watching you two from the closet
Wishing to be the FREEK SHEET in your jeans
Isn't it messed up how I'm just dying to be him
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(Notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Um, yeah, its friction! not freek sheet.. what the hell is a freek sheet in your jeans anyways!
