Strange(st) Dream...

Okay, so I was wondering what your strangest (or some of your strangest) dreams were. I don't necessarily mean sex dreams or anything graphic - I am just curious. Whenever I have a strange dream I wake up and write it down in a journal...when I wake up for real and I read it - it usually sounds like jibberish...and sometimes I don't recall my dreams - but my "almost awake" dreams are pretty lucid

last night I had this dream:

I was sitting in this big stage area (vaguely looked like a cross between my high school auditorium and the muppet show theater) and this little girl handed me a tuba that was very shiny.
So I start to play the tuba (I don't play any instrument in "real" life) and water bubbles up and fills the cavity of the tuba.

This bird fish thing starts to swim - and the girl reaches in with one of those new stackable rubbermaid food containers and she catches it and then stacks it along a wall...this happens a few more times and when I look at the wall it is FULL of these containers...and each container has these very vibrant bird fish. (they were fish with feathers and beaks)

so then I look at the girl and suddenly i recognize her. She is this girl that sat behind me in the 3rd grade. I don't remember her name, but she is even wearing the outfit she has on in my 3rd grade school picture...and so I smile at her and she shakes her head and starts to open her mouth...

and out of her mouth comes "some girls" (the Rolling Stones)

and then I woke up. and i wrote most of that down...I dont think it "means" anything...it is just kind of weird.

I have a lot of strange dreams - I was wondering if anyone else had dreams like that (well, not with the fish birds) just, you know strange dreams...

That is a strange one and I wouldn't even venture into trying to figure it out. I, too, write down my strangest dreams and I had one last year that was odd. I won't bore you with all the details, but it was an epic that ended with me seeing my parrot ( I do have one ) being assaulted by another parrot and four women dressed in housecoats, pink plastic rollers in their hair and toilet brushes in their hands going door to door singing a song about their cleaning services. The song went: "We are the girls, with the curls..."

My weirdest dream was when i was about 9 or 10 and "bad guys" came to our house and made us eat our cat!! I still remember how it looked when they cut the face into slices!!! 3 darks spots for the eyes and nose!!!

THat is seriously whacked which is probably why I remember it so vividly!!!! :eek:

i once had a dream about Pigmy people, but at that time, i didn't even know there was a such thing as a Pigmy race. anyway, it was in the future and they had a museum full of human artifacts. the Pigmy people were studying us as a race that had died off. the museum was full of information and displays, like how we lived, what kind of cars we drove, how we buried our dead....very strange.

oh, and the Pigmy people in my dream had pig snouts for noses.

before the tour started, i dreamt that i was talking with ed about a new song i had written, and we were rehearsing it, and all of a sudden the pearl jam tour bus showed up and it was time for him to get on. he invited me on the tour bus (questionable homoerotic dream reference or coincidence...not sure) and i shared the song with the rest of the band. so we get to the show and the band goofs around with the song during sound check. i'm on the side stage just watching and trying to stay out of everyone's way. and then I woke up.
