These things are good: ice cream and cake, a ride on a harley, seeing monkeys in the trees, the rain on my tongue, and the sun shining on my face.

These things are a drag: dust in my hair, holes in my shoes, no money in my pocket, and the sun shining on my face.

I love the fuck out of Rocky Dennis...my favorite part is when he puts on the dodger cap...

this movie is so awesome...

I agree, that movie is so amazing. I swear I've watched it at least a hundred times. Everytime I watch it I end up bawling my face off.

WOW...I totally agree with the Sam Elliot thing! - if I still posted pictures here (I would post one of him when he is looking at Cher...during the halloween party thing - he is wearing a shirt that says "Moustache rides" and it is just absolutely freakin rad.

    RAD...

Yes, it was an awful, sad spectacle. That long, long face. Ill-proportioned, plastic looking. A torment to carry around. But what bravery to go public with it:

I love this movie! Especially the graduation scene where the principal tells Rocky "you might as well stay up here" as he won all of the scholastic awards. Haven't seen this in years!!

Just watched this (again) a couple of weeks ago. Such a good movie. The ending is terribly heartbreaking though.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I watch it everytime I see it's on.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    oh my god !!!!

what is the name of that After school special with Robbie Benson...he plays a mentally disadvantaged boy - he may also have been mistreated...I think it had "Winchester" from M.A.S.H on it too...

I just remember him holding Robbie Benson (who, by the way is the SHIT) and humming "diggga digga doo digga doo doo!"

which became the THING to do in my house...god we were weirdos

HELL YES I DID THAT!!! wow, I think I am going to do that again...it is still funny...kinda like pretending to be blind like in Ice Castles...that is some serious bad blind acting.

oh and because i am so fucking bored here at work...I looked up robbie benson and David Ogden Stiers (took me a while to try to guess his name)

and the movie is "a circle of children" and um, I was wrong it wasn't Robbie benson. but hte "song" digga digga doo digga doo doo - did in fact happen.

but, I am pretty sure he was in a movie that had him eating crackers under a sink...like he was forbidden from leaving the cabinet under the sink...

wow you do have some time on your hands there! :D

Alright, back to Mask...never could watch the whole thing. I get the concept and all, i just couldn't bare to watch any more. no interest.

now bad news bears on the other hand...Tanner had one of the greatest quotes in the history of movies when he said...

"All we got on this team are a buncha (bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep) and a booger-eatin' moron!"

*bleeping so as to not offend, as it is not very 'pc' back in '76 and i'm at work :) *
