Hi,
First time Dad here, living through the first 7 weeks of parenthood. (typing one handed/holding him/letting MOM get some sleep....)
I cannot describe the absolute amount of joy we have experienced...anyone else around the same situation in life?
"Small my table, it seats NOW THREE, got so crowded, oh lucky me"
More perfect words I could have never echoed....
Thanks
Brian

I feel like singing that song by Creed...with arms wide open

You've been burned more than once

Your post nearly brought a tear to my eye!
Parenthood is an amazing thing. Cherish every moment and never forget that you created this beautiful life, together
I can't wait to hold my own children in my arms.
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
And I am sure you have already heard this, but it really does go by fast.

I couldn't agree more.Sadly and much to my regret I can't have children but I have experienced exactly what you describe with my niece and two nephews who I see a lot of,I am richly blessed to see them at least once a week and have taken them to many "first time" activities.Nothing beats the look on their faces and see the people they are growing into. But blink and its gone.
Congratulations on becoming a dad for the first time.Three is indeed a magic number.
take a good smell... that baby smell is something you will enjoy forever... too bad it dosent last... ;-)
and still jonesing for another show....
"the waiting drove me mad..."
I have 8. Every day they make me wonder why I had any of them. And then they make me remember why I had all of them!
My kids are my life, I seriously don't know how I could live without them.
May you enjoy every second of fatherhood as I have.
Perfectly spoken.
