We Want a Thread Too

Ok, maybe it's just me, but the thread with Rhinoceros Surprise's and Magstar's meet up along with everyone that posted in it with similar situations inspired me.

So, thanks to Pearl Jam and this message pit, I was able to start talking to someone online who I quickly learned was very very cool. This escalated into email, phone calls, and eventually visits. :) So here is a huge thank you to whoever created the one thread she posted in, and Pearl Jam for allowing me to meet the most amazing, beautiful [physically and every way imaginable] person I've ever known in my life.

I'm sure she doesn't want me bring her down to my level, so i won't post her name unless she wants too :p:D

Also feel free to pitch in if you have a similar story. :)

    Congratulations! I met my fiance the same way...we posted in the same thread...started chatting...then phone calls...then visits...and now we're engaged...all because we both love PJ :) Best of luck to you and your girl!

    Ahhhh....so then you must frequent the "What Made Your Day" thread" :p hehe
    I had never met anyone online before...and if you're gonna do it, it might as well be through the pit, right? :p The distance can REALLY suck...you can't do things that other couples take for granted on a regular basis...but whatever you do to keep the affection and connection going can make it better. Does she live far from you?

    Yes, I can gladly say I never take a second for granted.

    Yeah, she lives kind of far from Michigan, I fly into Boston.

    But, that's not as far as you and Zoso [it's Zoso right? i forget at the moment, haha] and Rhino and Mag, but it's certainly far enough.

    Yep - it's Zoso. Yeah Adelaide is FAR and I hate the fact that even if I really needed to get to him for some reason it would take me 2 days of flying just to get there :eek: But that will change soon. Any distance is difficult when you can't be with someone you really care about. It definitely does make you appreciate the time together so much more. Happiness to you both! And rhino and magstar too :)

    Wow! 2 days of flying. That would suck. The half a day flight kills me! I'm always so excited and anxious to get there, haha.

    omg it takes 3 different flights just to get there! It's pure insanity...but yeah getting off the plane...or seeing him getting off the plane is the best :)
