Snow in Western Michigan

Wow! I have never seen anything like this. I woke up at 7:30 to find out my school was closed, not my high school but my college, in downtown Grand Rapids. Businesses are closed and scrolling at the bottom of the screen like when you were a kid and your sledding trip was cancelled. It's insane.

I talked to my mom earlier and she tried going to work with her friend, and the wind got so bad at one point they had to stop because they couldn't see anything, and within a minute or two the car was almost buried in drifts and they had to have someone push them out because they couldn't open the doors. It's pretty crazy.

How's the weather by everyone else? Did this hit Chicago as well or miss it?

We got very bad winds in Milwaukee yesterday (like 50 MPH) all night long and a little snow. You guys must just be getting a ton of snow blowing in off the lake.
