And she said yes, of course. It wasn't really a surprise to her. I'm happier and more ready than I've ever been.

    Congratulations! I hope you two will be very happy.

    And I also wish you patience and low stress as your fiance and her mother plan the wedding. This time last year, my wedding was being planned and the best advice I can give is to let her have her way unless it's something you are just adamant about.

    You are right on! I'm going through the wedding planning right now and experiencing what you went through last year!

    I must say though that they're doing a great job and our wedding is going to kick ass.

    It's a lot less of a hassle and saves time and energy from arguing about it. Plus, as long as it wasn't some hokey event, I didn't really care about the ceremony and reception. I just wanted it to take place!

    Well, we havn't set a date. We've talked about it alot, so we have already been engaged, but now its official with a ring and all. We'd like to do Nov 11, but its so far away. We've been together for over 10 months, but we've known eachother for 16 years. Were in the same class, Dated in high school, first love - long story. I just proposed at this moment that seemed perfect. It was last Wednesday night. I was going to have this big date Sat, but it seemed like the rigth moment.
