i was running downstairs just now, and i ran into my study area (where the radio is on) and it just finished a commercial and did this tuning-sound-effect thing that it always does to transition from a commercial into a song, and I yelled, PEARL JAM! (the first band that came to mind)
and.......
the chords to yellow ledbetter started up...

hahahahha... sorry, these things excite you when you're stuck in doing homework all day.

    Kinda, yeah.
My favorite radio station is pretty awesome, and I give them
praise all the time. and then they surprise me again with some
random PJ songs. Like today, when they played Long Road, the long version...pretty awesome. And totally unexpected. haha :D

yeah this has totally happened to me before. Its really weird when it something COMPLETELY random that doesn't happen very often. Like getting a weird obscure tune from 10 years back stuck in your head and then randomly hearing it at a supermarket. Coincidence , maybe. Freaky, indeed :D

Same thing happened to me yesterday..I was thinking about an old friend and a Bush concert we went to in 2000. I was thinking about Gavin Rossdale's new CD and how I had only heard one song, used in a movie commercial. And right then Glycerine started playing. It's not Pearl Jam but it was a weird coincidence.

Im about three hours from there... oh my god, once March comes, i will never see this place again. Completely not the place for a "good" music fan. You think they'd be better since rock/blues was all born here and shit.

My brother got a new car a couple months ago that came with Sirius in it, and I kept telling how I thought it was a waste of money, but he told me I had to play around with it to totally get it. The minute I turned it on, of course the first song playing was "Hard Sun" and the next one was a good Clapton song. I guess I got proved wrong!

  • My best friend and I were on our annual birthday trip this weekend and I gave her the framed EV poster that I got her when we got to our hotel room. 5 minutes later we went to leave the hotel for a while and stepped into the hallway to see a guy walking with a guitar singing and playing Wishlist (and he was good). He then got on the elevator and we never saw him again.

If I knew where it was I would take you there. There's much more than this
