Tomorrow Has Been A Long Time Coming

Hey guys I posted this on my myspace blog and thought I would share. May some of you guys have loved a sports program as much as me and know what this is all about. It is therapeutic for me. Thanks.
Hi. I am Billy and I have a problem. Luckily, tomorrow the healing begins. See tomorrow I will be in attendance as Arkansas plays host to Ole Miss in a totally meaningless matchup of 3-4 football teams. But to me, and many other Arkansans, it means we can finally look to the future of the Arkansas Razorback football program.
You see, for the last 5 years I have allowed my hatred Houston Dale Nutt take over my life. You don't believe me? Ask anyone who has been around me these last 5 years. Ask anyone that had to be around me during the 2006 SECCG (the one with Reggie Fish) or had to deal with my phone tirades after. Ask anyone who happened to be around me when the Houston Nutt Show came on television. Pretty much ask anyone who has known me for any length of time. I am a true darksider. I paid for banners. I paid for newspaper ads. I called radio stations. I posted on message boards. I was sick with hatred for a man I had never met personally.
So what does tomorrow mean to me? I will boo Nutt as he leads the Ole Miss team on to the field. I will boo him if the Hogs win. I will boo him if the Rebels win and he leads the Ole Miss band in a rendition of their fight song. But it also means that in my life I will have no more "one or two plays away". No more "special teams being special". No more "good, hard, running". No more having the best offensive coordinator in football (see 'Tulsa '08') and running him off. No more having a freshmen quarterback be undefeated in the SEC to only have him benched and transfer. No more texting newscasters instead of offensive lineman and quarterback recruits. No more winning in Austin and Tuscaloosa, being 4-0, and ending up in Shreveport. No more having DMac and Felix and never winning a bowl game. I could go on and on but I won't.
Tomorrow means the healing will begin.

He did a great job at KY last week.
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
choke job for sure...........
Sorry, got off on my own rant there. Have fun with that healing thing. I am a Miss State fan myself, so I hope the healing temporarily halts for the Dawgs-Hogs game. Nice to see some SEC representation on the board.
