NHL and NBC extend there contract for next year!

.....now if we can get this done with ESPN
I'll be in the neighborhood later on, and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to get some frozen yogurt, or perhaps a whole meal of food, if that would be agreeable. Damnit.

    the Vs. broadcast is cool for the western conference cause sometimes they show the hockey night in Canada broadcast but aside from that it sucks, and that guy inbetween the periods that has that stupid looking mullett, who does he think he is Berry Melrouse, Berry would kick his ass

    Well this is welcome news for the NHL.
    Although I wish they would stop with the
    frickin' 2:00 pm games on weekends.
    If they want a larger audience the NHL
    should try and push evening games.
    Especially during the playoffs.

    tis true my pit friend, i heard rumors that ESPN 2 may carry games next season cause of the way ratings are going on NBC

    Glad to hear about the NBC deal... Something has to be done to get ESPN on board. I don't mind the VS crew, or their coverage, but without having the NHL on an ESPN network, the sport as a whole gets ignored on Sportscenter.

    yeah, now the NHL just needs to get back onto ESPN.
