Same secondary school asWilliam Shakespeare
I went to primary school with the lead singer of The Horrors and was best friends with his brother.
Oh and John Cale from the Velvet underground, Malcolm McLaren, Damien Hirst and Gary Oldman went to my university
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
I didn't go to school with anyone famous but my mom graduated with Susan Sarandon.
Tim Robbins mum?

OH: You need to stop buying Pearl Jam stuff, we have no room
Me: How about we just get a bigger house?
Nobody for me but my wife went to school with Good Charlotte. She was best friends with Benji and Joel's sister. Apparently they were popular kids in school who played sports. The yearbook photo of them in the baseball uniforms is hilarious.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I mentioned John Legend earlier though he was still John Stephens at Penn. His roommate was Devo Springsteen and apparently they've won a few grammys.
I also went to college with Donald Trump, Jr. and Ivanka Trump. Donald was a total loser who would always start fights and have his lacrosse and fraternity brothers fight his battles for him after he started something.
Mark DeRosa of the Cubs was the starting QB when I was there.
Becki Newton of Ugly Betty was also there. I've never watched the show but I met her in my bartending days.
And Jessica Prunell who played young Kyra Sedgwick in Born on the Fourth of July and was also in the Babysitter's Club went to school with me as well. Jessica left Hollywood after Penn and is now a lawyer in NYC. She was a really cool girl and never let on that she was an actress. We even went on a couple of dates freshman year. No one really knew who she was until the school paper did an article about how she turned down a sitcom deal to come to Penn and how Oliver Stone was coming as a guest speaker on campus and wanted her to introduce him. And once that story broke everyone on campus started treating her different, but she was still the same down to earth person.
I'm sure there were other people there as well, but this is all I can remember right now.
all 3 members of ZZ Top went to my high school here in Houston
Billy Gibbons still hangs out at all the same places....bunch live music venues..I see him quite frequently around town. Nice guy....if it wernt for his beard...you would never know who he was..such an unassuming guy...very nice and humble
No one really. Once for the graduation evening some guy who has some high editorial post at the New York Times came and talked about his time at my school. Other than that, no one remotely famous.
But lots of people went to University of Manchester...
Ben Elton, Rick Mayall and Adrian Edmondson (Young ones and Bottom was based on they're time at Manc Uni apparently).
Lots of famous sciencey types (Ernest Rutherford, John Dalton etc.)

Ed O'Brien (of Radiohead)
Ed Simmons & Tom Rowlands (Chemical Brothers)
Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me etc.)
