Edmonton Meet Up!!!!!!!

Ok, so smalltownbeck and I have been talking about arranging a little meet up.....it's come up again in the Oilers thread so we figured we should get on it!!!!! :D
The date we've been toying with is Saturday, March 29.....we would start the evening off at Schanks so that we can watch the Oilers play the Lames in the second last match-up of the year!!! And after that, we can see where the evening takes us!!!!!!!!
Post here and let us know if this sounds good to you! Who's in??????



Disclaimer ---> **Obviously, non-Oiler fans are more than welcome as it's a Pearl Jam fan meet up, just be aware that if you are a fan of that 'other team' there are going to be serious Oiler fans there!!! It'll be fun though!!!! ;)

    I will be there :D:D Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should be a good time. I am coming up from Calgary so it is for this area too.

    Yes, it's not just for Edmonton!!! I should have put that in there....it's for anyone that wants to come to Edmonton to have some fun with us!!!!!

    I am going to a show in Calgary that week, was planning to spend the weekend...but might come back early. Sounds like fun :)

    oh no :( that's my spring break week from teaching, I was planning to drive down to Nevada. BUT, the person I'm going with has to see if their parents are driving to Alberta for a visit that week or not yet... so it might not be a go. I was planning on going to Edmonton if my friend couldn't make it anyways.. so it might all work out. GO OILERS GO

    i dont live in Ab, and i'll be out of the country anyways, but... thought i'd let you know, i'd cheer for the oils over the flamers if i came :)

    i'd come but i'll be in europe on another, smaller scale meet up haha.

    there's lots of good deals on flights tho lately on westjet or aircanada :) i'd come if i was here.

    I was going to go to Dublin :( Couldn't find a decently priced flight.

    I should check the airlines again for my west coast trip.

    i managed to luck out on finding one... just keep looking!!
    air canada has been having seat sales lately...
    have you tried expedia.ca or priceline.com? althought priceline you have to fly out of the USA... i usually go outta seattle cos its close

    Time will tell for me....bad timing for me....BUT the plus side is that I will be in the plans of getting my ass moved to Calgary...therefore I should be able to roll for another meet-up in the future.......damn I would have loved to me some you guys/gals.....but who knows things may work out for me...but chances are slim for the end of the March.....

    I hope I can make it.....just have some business going on in my life that requires my full attention outside of moving....did you watch the game tonight?????

    It was a good one....in regards to the meet-up the nice thing is that in four months I will be living in Calgary and no longer hours upon hours upon endless hours from Edmonton....I hope I can make it I really want to meet some people....even those from PEI....lol :)

    I think we kind of called it off as most of us are going to Vancouver right???? Too bad. We will do it another time :) Well I shouldn't speak for everyone else but I doubt I can make it now

    I should have known better...most people will probably go for the weekend...and here Cree is telling me it would probably still be on...and if I'm not mistaken, he's going to Van? :D bastard!

    I can't make it...I already booked time off for the show I'm seeing in Calgary tomorrow night...didn't want to take so many of my holidays close together without takin an actual holiday (no offense Calgary or Van...ok, maybe a little offense to Calgary :p ). I might see if I can swing a US show or two and work a bit of r n r into it.

    Regardless, I'm going to drink heavily this weekend, watch the Oil spank the Shames, and try not to think about what I'm missing next week. Have fun if yer goin!
