    It's a leap year. "YOU'RE" working one more day than "YOU'RE" paid for.

    I heard this morning an economist saying that 29th Feb is a day worked for free because the other years, you have one less day in february...
    He forgot to mention that february is always shorter than the other month...
    I have 100% of my salary in february but I work one or 2 days less... so, I don't see 29th Feb as a day I work for free

    Actually, that's not accurate. Most salaried workers are paid by the pay period (in my case 2 weeks), not the year. There could be 20 extra days in the year and I'd still be paid for them.

    Yep, same amount here whether I work 10 days or 25 day a month, so no difference working on Feb 29th or not.

  • Yea, it sucks to be on salary w/ 20 days fully-paid vacation and full benefits, and have to work this one extra day every 4 years...
