Just watched the latest episode of Californication and they were using "Nothing Man." They had used Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box" earlier in the same episode. Pretty cool. Showtime and HBO use a lot of really good music in there series.

  • Title of episode "in utero".... Californication is a great show.... I'm glad it "gets" at least something from Pearl Jam.

  • I luv it when the music producer gives Hank Kurt's guitar...a gift from Courtney. Cool show.
  • Californiacation and Dexter flat out just rocked.

I remember reading the previous post about nothingman, and going to myself, WTF are these guys talking about. Then the episode came on last night, and it screwed with my head even more. So it was in a preview originally?

I think someone mentioned in another thread possibly that they had noticed it in the previews of this weeks show.
  • It's a good show.. I'm a fan of David Duchovny since his X Files days... Have to see this episode.

What happens is Showtime puts the next week's episode 'on demand' immediately after the previous episode airs. So, last Monday night I watched the 'Nothingman' episode on demand, in its entirety.

So, it's not a preview. It's the whole show On Demand. I actually did not realize this until somebody posted about Nothingman on this board last week. Before that, it was confusing the hell out of me how I was seemingly watching new episodes the week before they were coming on at their regularly scheduled time.
