I'm 24 hrs into my PJ project.....please read.
Ok..here's what I am doing. Currently I am 24 hrs into this little project...
I have copied EVERY LYRIC from EVERY STUDIO LP released by Pearl Jam.
Now...
I started with TEN, released in Aug, 1991....
I have CREATED 8 catagories...
1) Government-Law-War.
2) Religion (finding out very similar to G-L-W#1)
3) Media
4) Love-Beauty-Soulmate
5) Lost Love-Goodbyes-Will be missed
6) Unknown-Fear-Darkness
7) Abusive- Bad relationships
8) Parenting- it's Ups & downs...
Like I said, I just completed the TEN album...
I am TAKING EVERY word, a verse, maybe 2 verses, and placing them into one of the above mentioned catagories...
I listen, and place....
I am TRYING NOT TO REPEAT, a word or verse, once its placed, but like I said, 1 and 2 are close, and some I may just for the effect....
SO below, I am going to paste my first example of words & lyrics, Using catagory 7) Abusive-Bad relationships....so you have an idea of what the hell I'm doing.....
I'm really enjoying this...
in the end, all LP's and EVERY WORD will be placed in a catagory and that truly will be something else...I think....
see if you can relate a verse or verses with what song....
remember I have just completed TEN....
as i said, all words are placed in different groups....
so if you say to yourself, "thats not the entire verse" it may not fit in this specific group below....
and if you want me to email you the entire project when completed...email me your email address......

Because I dont sleep much, and usually when I get up at 3am, there isnt much to do....the gym doesnt open until 5:30am, and my employees dont show up for work until 7am...and because I can.....and want to....
so why not break down every word/verse and place it in a catagory.....then read each catagory, and see how it comes out.....

sure i do, but i've enjoyed doing this so far.... I have plenty of spare time, and just time in general..... it's pretty easily done...
all you do is read a phrase, verse a word, and ask yourself, what does it mean to you....

and regrading the above link..From my personal experience..
I nap prob. 3 hours a day...
I drink prob. 3 or 4 beers a day and usually about 30 ounces of Coffee a day..
Smoke a pack and a half...
Wake up at 1045 for an 11 oclock class.. Is this exposing myself to to much sunlight?
Don't excercise..
I don't know what my iron level is..

I don't mean to be a Negative Nelly, but if you have all this spare time, should't you be reading some of the great works of our time, or writing something original, or at the very least, masturbating?
I agree. I think it is insane, but if you are going to do it why break down the lines? Just group the songs into the different categoties.
Curly Joe, is so right that you should read some good books since you have so much time. I wish I had that kind of time. I read 27 books so far this year and hope to break 30 by year's end. I would have read 150 if I had the kind of time you are talking about!
