Recently, my work sent me to a class on recognizing drug use in employees and the proper procedures for testing suspected individuals. I work in HR so I'm supposed to know and enforce these things. Now, I was only mildly stoned at the time but I found the whole thing hilarious. Some of their "inside" information into drug culture is so far removed from reality they might as well be showing people the Reefer Madness movie. I kept wanting to raise my hand and contribute to the class but decided that might be a bad move. I thought about stealing the display case full of confiscated samples but most of it looked about 20 years old. Good times...

there's a part of me that would love to simply ingest all drugs and alcohol i can and write like a fiend.....problem is i'm so add i'd get wasted and end up watching a 24 hour marathon of looney tunes

Actually, I jut go to work stoned. Surprisingly enough, I forgot I had that training on that particular day or I might have obstained.

Sure, although you have to be willing to get a decent sized paycheck without actually working.

We literally had an employee drink herself to death in the last couple of months. She just died a week ago. Everyone knew as she reeked of hard booze all day every day but my boss was unwilling to address it, thinking we'd get sued for violating the ADA.

I figure I should be able to come to work and sell heroin and keep my job.

HR over three veterans homes. Lots of nurses and crazy vets. One of our IT guys, suffering from PTS, just hinted to a nurse he didn't like about how he could kill her with piano wire. Those are the kinds of things I get to address.
