Quicktime Question

first off..i know NOTHING about this shit.

just wondering--when you download a clip in quicktime format, why does it always give you that small little screen in the middle of the page? and is there a way to make the screen larger?

anyone know?

    I think you just have to resize it by grabbing an edge and tuggin'

    i looked in the plug in settings and couldnt figure it out. do i need to register or something?
