Andy, like most of us, loved PJ. Really loved PJ. His love for Low Light saw me rediscovering my love for Yield and 'lets compare stick man tattoos' was always a fun past time... til he pulled his Nothingman trump tattoo out the bag...

I never got to meet Andy but will remember him with fond memories - someone who shared my love for PJ, someone who many an hour kept me entertained at work and someone who loved his Mum. 20 years on this earth is nothing, he was a baby and left us far too early.

I know he's still gonna be there on the East Coast... rocking out like he was supposed to.

Thanks for saying more than I could. I hated starting this thread and struggled with the words. He so did love his girlfriend, Chloe. I'm sending her the link to this thread....

I believe he may have recently gotten some new PJ ink as well. I believe Low Light lyrics...I wish I was clearer on this...but I seem to recall clouds roll by. I also think there was a GTF tat.

No problem. You did a stirling job of breaking such bad news to the Pearl Jam community. Sometimes finding the words can be the hardest thing to do.

He mentioned something about a Low Light tattoo a while ago, I didn't realise he may have got it? I really hope so, he loved that song so much... I listened to it this morning, it'll always remind me of him.

I last spoke to Andy at the beginning of May, but unfortunately, due to work restricting my msn usage, it was only brief... basically 5 mins to rub it in how he had tickets and I didn't... and it was done with a cheeky grin as usual

I posted on his facebook this morning, it's heart breaking, he was so loved

I posted it in the first post of the thread...but here it is again.

I sent a link of this thread to Andy's girlfriend, Chloe and this is what she has to say to the Pearl Jam community:

andy's nickname was molly hence mol.cameron, thats what all his mates knew him as.

but molly (andy) always showed me messgaes from everyone. its so nice this band bring together a real collection of lovely genuine people as if they live their lives directly from the song lyrics themselves.

andy and myself saw pearl jam three times; aug 06 twice and June 07; it is Dublin august 2006 where we fell completely in love with the band and each other.

Late at night listening to pearl jam is where i will miss him most.
he had tattoos over his body of pearl jam lyrics and the 'alive' stick man.

i recentely got the last one andy had planned for himself ''given to fly'' on his wrist. i now have this on my wrist, its a small tribute to the most amazing person you know through your love of pearl jam.

at his funeral we played: neil young heart of gold, pearl jam given to fly and wishlist, and neil young once more with rockin in the free world (pearl jam covered too as you know)

it was beautiful. i will miss him, but keep on truckin' and thanks for the messages.

Let me just say that for those of you who had personal dealings with this young man, my thoughts go out to all of you as well as his family and friends. This board has served so many of us so well over the years in the way of developing friendships, whether they are face to face, or solely on line. It’s amazing the camaraderie that can grow between people who have just one simple thing in common, the love of music and specifically one band.

It has brought me so much over the years. I know that when I lost someone very close to me that was a regular on this board, the outreach of support to me and to his family was overwhelming. And I can personally say that his family really appreciated it.

So please continue to post your condolences as well as any little tidbit about your interaction with Andy that will bring a smile to the faces of those who knew him best.

My thoughts are with his family and girlfriend, as a fellow diebetes sufferer, this scares me. The way I am, something like this could happen to me in the future. Fellow diabetics on the board, I urge us to all look after ourselfs.....RIP Andy
