i have never cared for bloody marys. it's one of those drinks i have tried and tried to like...b/c i figure alcohol with tomato juice, at least semi-good for you...but i can't get past the tomoato juice. and you and all your fancy talk ..i don't know what a croque madame is....or as a female, perhaps i shouldn't?

not a bad start? it's been fab!
we have spent more sundays this summer out on the back porch..then in the hammock and/or adirondack chairs...with the very same combo. it's been a good summer. being a holiday weekend, and we have a party tomorrow in any case...decided to do so on saturday.


hush..i don't care for lox. give me cream cheese tho and YUM!
however, bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel is my 'ultimate bagel combo'...love it!

I love anything and everything spicy so to start my day off with a spicy alcoholic beverage with tomato juice is an excellent start for me! As to the croque madame:

i am a spicy spicy, spicy girl...but tomato juice...yuck.
as to the croque madame, doesn't read all that appealing to me either. c'est la vie.

Nice! Tonight for me will be some fresh fish picked up from the Chelsea Market and a nice bottle of red (as if there is any other wine worth drinking!)

Love mimosas, and I don't drink..

I break my rules for mimosas though.. One time I had a mimosas on top of the Eiffel Tower.. I was 15 too.. I feel in love then.

i LOVE champagne, period. however, mimosas go down just SOOO easy and delish!


and i LOVE fresh bagels. we have a great local bagel place, fresh daily...and YUM! i had an everything bagel today. i usually go for the whole wheat. ialso usally have my egg/bagel combo as of late...although i used to have a crazy love affair with bagels and cream cheese. i AM a NYer, afterall.....haha.

i was never a 'big' drinker...but i can't imagine being a teetotaler. nothing wrong with it of course, but most especially nowadays.....and especially after buying a dozen bottles of red wine yesterday ...i love me to drink.
