soooooooooo.....who got their christmas tree? we picked ours up on friday night so on saturday morning mr. dream put the lights on, and then i spent the whole day decorating the tree and house. i LOVE the holidays and i LOVE christmas trees! pics are sure to follow...but nonetheless.......let's hear stories of trees....who got em, share pics, etc....

Went out and got ours yesterday in the snow/sleet. Little man was not a happy boy during the process, but he was all about it once it was in the house. Decorating it tonight.

I have a black tree (it's fake made out of recycled paper and plastic) I painted it black and then spotted it with blacklight paint I am going to hang my Nightmare before christmas ornaments and purple lights in it.

I made the ornaments too - they were easy! you just draw jack's face on white shiny ornaments.

I have to try to find black and white striped ribbon...I think we will put it up on saturday.

I think I'm just going to use the tree from last year... i mean... it's still decorated... except for the lower hanging ornaments the cats have gotten to.
and even though it's brown instead of green.. I think a little Krylon enamel spray paint should do the trick. Spray some Pine scented Glade.. and viola!

I want to put a tree on a plant stand on our balcony with a shitload of lights on it, so all of the old folks across the way and all of the passers by can see it.


Oh, and I can't help but sing (short repetitive parts of) 'Oh, Christmas Tree' every time I see one, which can be annoying to anyone traveling with me around multiple parking lots. :rolleyes:

We got ours yesterday... we went to a new place to cut our own, but after walking around in the cold sleet for 20 minutes, we couldn't find a nice one, so just bought one they had already cut.

We got it all decorated last night and it's looking good. I'll have to take a few pics.

I have a wooden artsy model. I bring it out as I get closer to x-mas. Otherwise, I don't do much. Maybe buy a gift for the b/f if perchance I have one at that time of year.

no lights, just some spotlights we always have....and just lots of white/cilver so it 'reflects' beautifully. and sure, hubby doesn't have to put up any lights and that keeps him from turning into scrooge and rather in holiday spirit, so it's all good.

my apartment is too small for a tree...i don't know where to put one?!

i may just buy a 3' teal or hot pink tinsel tree from work and set it up on the counter
