saw it yesterday, REALLY liked it! based on the life of jane austin...the authoress...although i don't know how 'true' iot all is or not, i honestly, don't know much about her life. that said, it was totally interesting to get a glimpse of her background, and how she started writing., and her life in general.

i am not a huge anne hathaway fan, but she was quite good...even with a marginal english accent. ;) everyone else, top notch! soooo many great actors in it...and just really well done!

i love ALL: the films made based on austin's novels.....and now there's another film called the jane austen bookclub coming out shortly that looks damn good too.

I read "Jane Austen Book Club" and I didn't really want to see the movie. Probably because I saw Becoming Jane 10 times, and I'm kindof movie-d out :D

It's probably a good little flick, though. Book was a fast read on par with good contemporary fiction.

I didn't see the movie so many times because of James McAvoy or Anne Hathaway. I fell in love with their love story even though for the most part it's not true (boo hoo.) Any time I see a movie based on a artist that is well done, it inspires me, get me thinking of my art.

    I regularly view http://becomingjane.blogspot.com/

My favorite youtube of Becoming Jane is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV9bQNHhgWo

My favorite scene is the first time Jane and Tom dance at that country dance. "Limerick, Miss Austen" (oh, slay me!)

The last time I was so excited about a DVD coming out was when the most recent Pride and Prejudice came out.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. :)
drivingrl: "Will I ever get to meet Gwen Stefani?"
kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.

    Next!"
