woohooo!
we had a contest at work between regional stores, and whoever met and/or exceeded their sales goals for the month of december would win as a store, and then prizes would be divied up amongst all employees. well, we were the winning store - yay! - and as we are a small staff, everyone would win at least a $250 amex giftcard, but 2 employees would win 60g ipod video, altec lansing docking/speakers and a $50 itunes gift card - total value $550! and you guessed it - i won! :D

very, very cool! :cool:
hubby and i already own ipods, but certainly not the 60 gig, and this is a very nice speaker system too....so yay me.

    got it today! :)
    i had it wrong though....it's a 30 gig ipod video...and a logitech speaker docking, so not quite what i had originally thought/posted, but still......damn fine nonetheless, and still worth as said, so very cool.

    at present i have a 20 gig as does my husband, althoughhis is before color screens, whereas mine is from 2005....and he recently got a nano....so yea, we have quite a lot of ipods and some great accecessories, periphery devices....excellent stuff! looking forward to getting a LOT of usage out of it all. :D

    i didn't even know there was a 'contest' but yea, this time, i won an ipod shuffle. :p if i knew, i would've actually tried, b/c top prize for 2 was $2K gift card to best buy, quite nice. i'd guess about 25 - 45 employees won shuffles thruout the company, so pretty cool. i am the only one within my store to win anything this time around :o crazy stuff. so yea, i have quite the ipod collection now. :)

    naaah not wasted, just gearing up for the big stuff is how i think of it! so yeah, go play haha
