I love alone time! I'm very lucky that my husband is great about taking our daughter out in the evening (to walk around the mall/run errands) so I can have time to myself. Tonight, he's going to do just that and I will have a "spa night". :D

I used to love my time on my own...craved it in fact, but now it's just me most of the time and I get a bit sick of my own company :o

Still, I'm joining classes left, right and centre and hopefully, when my days are a bit fuller, my *me* time will get back to being special and peaceful again :)

ME! I rarely get alone time; it is usually just my time at the gym or driving to/from work. So when I do get alone time I enjoy it! :D

I love to spend time on my own. I need it too.

I love it when I can be silent an entire day.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

  • I adore the time I have to myself.

    Me.
    I love it.
I was given 3 hours alone in my garden yesterday on Mother's Day.
It was the most excellent present.
    I savoured every moment.
And got alot of work done! :)

I'm with you.....I love it. I love spending time with my family and friends but there is nothing better than my alone time. I love hanging with my dogs, taking a nap, a walk....working in the yard....going to the barn. I love being at home, turning on the iTunes and sitting in the dark just listening. I love not having to answer to anyone or feel obligated to engage in conversation. Aside from my dogs, I'm quite a solitary creature.

    absolutely!

thankfully, whenever i want/need alone time...i can get it, usually. however, it's especially nice to occasionally get a whole few days/nights.

the *silent* is difficult to pull off! since i am working, no dice...but even at home, alone, i do find i have to talk to the dogs - call them in the house, for dinner, etc.....and yes, i simply can't help myself but talk to them. :p

i will say, when i first went to prague, i had the first 4 days entirely on my own...no flatmate yet arrived. since i didn't/still don't speak czech, no one around....i think i went almost the entire 4 days without speaking to anyone. it was bizarre....and fantastic. even on the weekends away from my classmates, i could easily go all day without speaking, totally silent, just walking around the city. fantastic. silence is golden. :D

It almost impossible for me. I study languages. We have to answer a lot, talk a lot...

And when I try it people think there's something wrong :D

It is! I love it that most of my friends don't have this need to talk, sometimes we all sit together in silence. It's not awkward at all like some people seem to think. It's actually very nice and relaxing. No one will be upset if you do talk, of course.

i don't spend enough time with many friends to be like that. however, my husband and i are like that. never any uncomfortable silences. we can talk...or not...and it's always comfortable and easy. sometimes, it's even better. ;) especially compared to anger and screaming! yikes i have a temper....so silence is good at times. haha.

last night i ran some errands, ate dinner, read some magazines and had a GREAT night of sleep sprawled *right* in the middle of the bed. :D it was awesome!
