Tv sucks

Tv sucks in general lately but at 3am its just teleshopping and stupid documentarys, what the hell are drunk people and insomniacs supposed to watch? usually drunk people are way to sloshed to work a dvd player

    Yeah I agree! Usually you can find at least one cheesy sitcom to watch but sometimes all that is on are infomercials! :eek:

    Sometimes good infomercials are on, it would make my night if the cadburys chocolate ad with the gorilla playing drums came on

    I'm just glad to hear that TV is shitty in Ireland as well. :D
    In my area of the U.S., we usually get the stupid infomercials (that might be what teleshopping is in Ireland), mostly male enhancement products and re-runs of crappy shows.

    But TBS has some good movies around 2 a.m. or so. I didn't realized Adam Sandler made a movie call Spanglish until it was on TBS really late.

    tv does suck. and the writers strike is making it 10 time worse

    My brother lived in europe for awhile and he tells me that the TV stations play porn late at night.

    I was drunk at the time you posted that and I was watching everest night on discovery... they're FAR from stupid documentaries :eek: . I was on the edge of me seat the whole time (probably cos I was closer to the drink that way but still)

    I was up early/late this morning watching a good documentary.
    When my son was first born, he stayed awake right the way through the night. It got to the point where I knew what programmes were on at what time of the night. There was always a movie on between 12 to 2:00... and I won't tell you the other shit I watched because it was embarrassing mind numbing stuff usually.

    tv has been crap for a long time. i might be alittle off base here but i think the writers strike is the best thing to happen to tv since friends went off the air. the writers write terrible shows, cant say i miss them. as for all the reality shows people eat that crap up. it shows how mindless the viewing public is.

    i really hope with the writers on strike that the networks overkill the reality crap and id really like to see commerical time drop to 10 cents for 30 seconds.

    tv hasnt been nicknamed the idiot box for no reason and it almost scares me the amount of time people spend watching it.
