"Why Go" riff in new metallica song?

A friend had a copy of death magnetic, while listening today I heard the familiar riff from "Why Go" in the Song "The End Of The Line". Anyone else heard it yet? or have any thoughts on it? I don't think its a blatant rip off, possibly a subconscious influence?
