    Yeah lots of cool stories. I kind of like it better than the Olympics, to tell you the truth. It's more innocent, no doping, and the kids are awesome.

    i read yesterday that Doc Gooden played in the LLWS in 79 then the MLB WS in 86........pretty impressive

    I showed that to my nephew this AM. 
    New Jersey won game #2 in the Mid-Atlantic Regionals earlier today.  (His team lost in Sectionals so he is following closely this year.)

    The one that sticks out the most for me was actually Chris Drury who won the LLWS in '89 and had a pretty good NHL career.  I think i still have the Sports Illustrated article about that team.

    Todd Frazier won and as part of celebration went to a yankees game and lined up at short next to Jeter.  They showed that on the video board when Frazier played against Jeter in the majors.
