Tonight I Had a party at my dad's house while he was gone. alot of cars, and i gueess the sheriff got called. They came, busted my party. All minors which I am. They threatened to arrest me if i did not tell them who bought my liquor. I feel like such a shit but when they did i told them my mom(the Truth) i feel like a rat bastard. they let everyone else go but my mom and me are facing solicting alcohol to minors. I looked up the punishment online, the charges are min of $250 and max of 6 months in prison/1000 dollar fine. Do you have any idea of what they will do? and i feel so awful, like the worst son on the face of the planet

The would probably make her pay a fine, which you're gonna pay ;) I highly doubt they would lock her up, unless you know, someone gets a in a car wreck or something later.

You should have said you paid a homeless man $20 to buy you liquor :)
    NERDS!
  • do they have any proof your mom was involved? I guess I would say that you were under so much pressure to not have all of your friends get busted, that you blurted out the first name that came to mind. Mom.
  • oh, and like the other guy said, I hope noone was driving. if so, then you and your mom should be locked up.

your mom bought the alcohol? was she there? interesting....

you aren't in any trouble but your mom sure is....of course back in my day the cops would have had us pour the drinks out and send everyone home....too much overreaction nowadays :)

Did your mom buy the alcohol? Doesn't matter if she was there when the cops arrived or not. If she bought alcohol for you and your underage friends, you guys better lawyer up fucking quick and thank Jesus that nobody left that party and got in a wreck.

this just happened a few blocks from me last week. a woman bought alcohol for her child and his/her graduating class...there had to be 100 kids there if not more... one girl was taken to the hospital and i believe the mom was arrested.

Maybe you should have said she bought it but it wasn't for you. Make something up about an upcoming party she was going to have and that she had no idea you and your friends were going to drink it while she was gone. I guess it may be a little late for that.

You and your mom both made mistakes. All you can do now is own up to that fact. It's a shitty situation, but mom should've thought about that before she bought you the booze...
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

I have to agree with this.

I'm not a big fan of parents buying alcohol for underage kids. She's an adult who should have known better. You're not a bad son for telling the truth.
