is the greatest sandwich shop of all time... has anyone else ever been there? when i take people for the first time they absolutely fall in love with the place and i have had a few requests to take them back :)

It is a small hole in the wall place that is family owned and run since it opened its doors. And when i say small hole in the wall, i mean SMALL hole in the wall. Which is of course where you always find the best food

They are known for their roast beef sandwich, but i think the best thing on the menu is the Italian hoagie (thats right, it is called a hoagie... not a grinder, or a hero, or a po' boy... it is a fucking hoagie people  )

They freshly slice your meat upon ordering, put it on an extremely fresh roll, add some fresh crisp romaine and sliced roma tomato's, and then comes the secret ingredient which takes it WAY over the top which is their fresh homemade roasted red peppers covered in Olive Oil and minced garlic

it is like an instant orgasm on a roll... and the best part is if you take a date for a cool little lunch in South Philly, and you both order the italian hoagie, then you dont have to worry about your breath for the after luch kiss because you both will have funky breath... but it is a GOOD funky :)

has anyone ever been there? or does anyone want to go this weekend? :D

Word. This place is good stuff. Whenever I go down to Cannuli's to get meats I stop by here sparingly. Good stuff. And yes, in Lunch Meat City it's called a hoagie - and will always be called a hoagie.

EDIT: I should stop talking about awesome food as it'll kill my cleanse. By the way, Philly has the best food hands down. And no, I'm not biased - it's a fact.

It's a great place. I live right by there. There are so many great, tiny places in South Philly that very few people know about with great food.
