Halifax got hit pretty hard lastnight.
It's snowing a little bit today, lot's of winds.
But, it looks beautiful outside.
I love the snow. I love it's art!
There's something sweet about it!

It's almost 9am. No work today.
Ah Yeah! It's about time.
But, what time to shovel that driveway?
My streets hasn't even been plowed yet.
Where is Mr. Plower?
What's Marge doing up this early?
A rest & cup of hot chocolate,
I shall have.
And start on thy omega contest.
Check the Porch tomorrow afternoon.

Cheers! :)

  • We had snow here yesterday in chester county Pennsylvania...
I didn't check the weather or look out side before stepping out the door in flip flops...and the night before I opted to not park in the garage ...silly me;)

My car is covered with snow. So wanted to head out for a quick Tim's hot chocolate & an everything bagel toasted with herbel garlic cream cheese! *OH MAMA!!! *drools. But my street hasn't been plowed. I got all season tires on my Grand Am, but i'll be stuck when I hit out my driveway.
  • When I was flying home from the toronto ED shows I over heard a flight attendant talking to someone about how Tim Hortons coffee has the most caffiene, more then any other coffee chain:) wonder if there's truth in that!
**mmmm everything bagel....mmmmm my tummy is growling!

not sure how your country, region, city do it but down here in good old Columbus , Ohio it's deemed far more important to plow the freeways and Main roads first. Secondary roads next then if the Sun hasn't melted it yet they might get around to the residential streets. But usually by this time , cars have compacted the snow to resemble ICE!!!! and no snowplow can really do anything with them.

Haha -- I had to pull a cop car off of my street with my truck the last time we got a huge snowfall.

It's the same here. But I live right next to a main road. Next to churches & schools (seeing, there's no school today, and I think there is church service tonight). D'oh!

Oh well, it's a day of rest! :)

Did you let him/her know the next time you're speeding, their eyes were closed? hahah. I did that for a few friends that I knew that worked at the jobs sites who take care of security.

    ~1 foot?
    It's not that much ;)
I had to shake my head at all the morons who don't know how to drive in snow. Then the mad panic to get snow tires on their cars when they heard there was a storm coming, hehe

My side of the driveway, it's more then that! Winds pushed 2 foot, tops! haha.

Did you hear the new's on HalFM? Was it yesterday, but on the 101 highway, people were stranded in their cars for the night. Few tried to pass slow cars moving that were on road, to later get fallen in the ditches. hahah. Those are true morons there man! Stay behind like everybody else. Stay behind & drive safe! Now, see what happens, you're stuck in the ditch. lol

The Cobequid pass - I wouldn't be surprised to run into a blizzard there in August ;)
Couple of big rigs got stranded and clogged traffic for 20 miles or something.

Today the snow looked beautiful here this morning. The skies are blue and the snow is clean and sparkling on the trees. That's the way I like it best. :)

(Dirty snow with gray skies I don't like quite so much! :p )

i work at a hospital and when it snows i must do snow removal. for me snow=money.
  • Ottawa has nothing...how strange that everywhere else has been hit already and we've only had a few snowflakes. Granted, the ground was covered just before Halloween, but just barely, and it disappeared shortly after.
