Should I move in with my brother?

I need some advice, and who better to give it then you fine Internet folks?

Alright, I've put in my two weeks notice at work. Now the problem is finding the money to pay the rent until I find a new job. I have some savings, but I'd hate to blow it all on an apartment. Would you rather...

a) Live in filth with your brother and maintain your savings. I mean, filth.
b) Use the savings to stay put (where it's clean <3), eventually go broke, and NOT have to move

    My question is, why would you quit your job and put yourself in this predicament to begin with? Why not just find another job first and then quit your other job.

    that's the logical way to do things.

    I quit my job on the spot then gave my expensive highrise notice to vacate the following day. Lower your expenses when your income lowers.

    i think the obvious answer is to move in with your bro for the time being.

    but just how bad is the filth? maybe with you moving in, it will become a new motivation for him to clean all his shit up!

    My advice would have been to wait until you had another job before you put in your two weeks' notice. I guess it's a bit late for that.

    From what I heard, apparently the mice in the apartment have clothespins on their noses because the smell is so bad.

    Yeah, I tried that before. Some stuff got cleaned up, but when I moved out it all went to pot again.
