The person that came up with deep fried truffles should be shot.
That is no way to treat a truffle.

However, that deep fried grilled cheese with a side of shoestring potatoes sounds divine.

If you live in Texas, the State Fair is an annual tradition. I can't wait for it. I love it. I know it is cheesy and all of that but I go every year. Greatest State Fair in world.

Besides, where else can you get chicken fried bacon?

My favorite day at the Fair was 10/17/00 because Pearl Jam played at the Starplex that night, the ampitheater located right at the Fair grounds. So we went to the Fair during the day and caught PJ that night. If you listen to the boot, Ed makes several references to the ferris wheel and the lights, etc.

Aww! I remember that! He said something like, "We won't stop until the ferris wheel stops."

    Now I'm all verklempt.

Edit: Which makes me wonder - Did Pearl Jam visit the State Fair of Texas and enjoy a corny dog?
