remember cory? yes he was banned, but he could do with your thoughts right about now.

I received an email from Lou, who has said:-

got a text message from cory last week saying he was having surgery scheduled for a brain aneurysm

cory's friend has sent Lou this message
Last Tuesday, Cory was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

After nearly a week in Memphis undergoing tests, it was decided that the best course of treatment was a world class neurosurgeon in Buenos Aires...

Cory is attacking this thing in great Cory fashion....with strength and humor.

You know better than I, his close friends from the pj boards...I would be indebted to you if you could connect with them an have them send their prayers for him.

Also...because this is being done out of the US, insurance will not cover it. There has been an account set up for him...the info can be found on the CaringBridge link.

I know in my heart that he is gonna come through this with flying colors.

    That's awful. This is the latest post from his link:

    Cory has been moved from ICU to a regular room. He just ate a steak, so he is a happy guy. There is some pain in his legs from all the catheters (they are all out now), but the doctor said that is completely normal and should go away in a few days. We are looking at 2 more nights in the hospital, and one in a hotel. The doctor wants to see him on Monday before we fly home. I will keep everyone informed if that changes. Dr. Lylyk did say that a clinical paper is already in the works on Cory's operation. They ended up putting in 7 stents. We are so blessed all went well during surgery! Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery as we are all ready to get home to the USA!!!

    Horrible news!!:( I just checked out that link and atleast it looks like the surgery went well and he's doing okay. I hope he makes a speedy recovery and is not too wiped out by the surgery costs!

    7 stents! My thoughts and prayers go to him and his family. It sounds like he made it through ok right after the surgery. Only 2 days in the hospital before airplane travel after a major surgery like that? I recognize the cost issue, however, would 2 days be enough? Good luck to him. Geez. Oh, how horrible.

    Thanks for that. I couldn't sign up when I tried. I've been sort of quietly nervous on his behalf. But it looks as though things are going well.
