why is this? is it because the large percentage of my posts are encapsulated awesomeness and it puts people off? ;)

post here if you find yourself to be one of the tail enders :(
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I think it depends on when you post about something. If a bunch of people have already said their piece, then you come on and say something sensible and reasonably non-controversial, this seems to stop threads. (Heh I wonder if that comment will this one!)

Hah, 'thread cooler' outed at last ;)
I have to say I feel like this often Dunk, but I overcome it. Although recently I've found myself typing elongated responses to what are really pointless questions in the first place, and towards the end of typing I go......"ah, who gives a fuck what you think...so what......whatever? " and I delete :o

you do know how to hit a nerve...:p

i think the best thing is to just leave the thread if you find one that's totally opposite of your own views. fuck! it's really hard though, because whenever i see something i disagree with i always try to put my opinion into it and sometimes i just go trigger happy punching the keyboard without thinking.

then the next day, i'm thinking like: "what the fuck? why was i so upset over that poster's comments?" you realized you might have just made it worse.

some of us(including myself) have such strong opinions and personal beliefs that we fail to understand and appreciate what others have to offer with their upbringings. and those who can be express without being subjective- more power to you, not many of us can do that.

And the best is when someone is being a jerk to you and you just ignore it and respond to someone else instead. :p

    :D I do that too!

What a classic! We could have a thread purely dedicated to all the things you were gonna say but deleted. :D Reckon there'd be some funny stuff on there! :D

Oh and dunk, you finish a lot of threads because folks know if they engage you, they're liable to burn the dinner coz you'll keep coming back! :p:D
    NOPE!!!

Can you imagine if one day, the powers that be unleashed everything we may have wanted to type and send but deleted? :o OMG!!!!
It would be like a slam book. Have you heard of those?? It was a Judy Blume thing...a book that you passed around in class and wrote your honest opinion of people but it was anonymous at least.

Oooh! :) I vaguely recall that!

Yeah, I'm thinking funny but probably a tad ugaleeeee too!
When I think of some of the things I have typed and not posted..... :D

Some people have a knack and reputation for getting their ugly out and calling it humour or being justified because they're "pushed" to it and then some things I think are really benign and meant it good fun seem to completely appall and offend, so yeah, I can see why the powers that be don't allow "the Pit unleashed" :D

Just leave it to dunk, he usually manages to get a lot of stuff out cleverly.
    NOPE!!!
