    Yes it would.

You're country is a tiny speck of dung, compared to our city.

We have a much larger economy (and we are a freaking city). And the Philadelphia metro area has only a slightly larger population than Scotland. That means that per capita we produce much much more than all of you. We also have a larger historical identity, even though we are much younger than you.... basically, because no one cares about Scottish history and people do care about American history.

Philly is the origin of the largest/most powerful country in the world. Your country is the origin of people who look like feet and talk like deaf pirates.

and my dad could beat up your dad.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

...I love how this thing has turned into a name calling thing...

Also, Dunkman, to go along with your comment about how you're amazed that there are so many poor people. Not really - it just looks like that in URBAN CITIES. But, that's also the bi-product of a capitalist country. Do you know some of the poorest people in this country are also the fattest? So in relative terms they're really not that poor.

true true... i was just amazed to see how bad it was... i've always thought Phildelphia was one giant beautiful city.. as its portayed in movies, tv etc... i was genuinely shocked to see some of the streets on that documentary last night.. i watched it on TV... we invented TV.

Have you been to the US? Seriously, make an effort and check out ANY major city in the states. It's like that. Philly's is one of the oldest, if not THE oldest, city in the country so of course it's going to be run down. Ya know that thing you're typing on right now? Yep, invented at Penn at 33rd and Spruce. Awwww shiiiiit!!!

My dad "could" beat up your dad, but he wouldn't want to get that close to a man in a dress.

i know the cities have a crime problem... call me naive or whatever... i just didnt realise the extent of it and i didnt realise that some areas were that run-down...

just like US tourists think Edinburgh is a beautiful old city.. it is... but the outskirt areas are fucking awful...

i didnt realise saying something truthful about a US city would cause so much commotion? its not like i'm lying... I'm saying i didnt realise it was that bad... which it clearly is.
