its a quote frenzy that movie!!! i love it :D
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I would rank Caddyshack higher.....simply because of Rodney Dangerfield's break-out performance.

As for war movies, Apocalypse Now might be more quotable.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

hmmm.. without looking up i can think of far more Platoon quote than Apocalypse.. and i did my 6th year english review on Apocalypse so i know it inside out.. although maybe thats why i find it lacking in quotes :D

you could quote any of those 3 movies to me and i wouldnt know which one they come from.. although bowling and golf quotes might give it away :D

but Platoon.. "Hey LT.. watch this!"..

    Sgt. Elias: First time?
    Chris Taylor: Yeah.
Sgt. Elias: Then the worm has definitely turned for you, man. Feel good?
Chris Taylor: Yeah, it feels good. I got no pain in my neck now.
Sgt. Elias: Feelin' good's good enough.

of course. classic scene, classic movie. that is one of the best lines from any movie ever.
  • I'm going to have to roll with the Big Lebowski as the most quotable movie ever.
I was taught a month ago to bide my time and take it slow, but then I learned just yesterday to rush and never waste a day. Now I'm convinced the whole day long that all I've learned is always wrong. Things are true that I forget, but no one taught that to me yet
  • Though I love Platoon, Big Lebowski kicks the crap out of any other movie when it comes to memorable quotes. Lebowski quote-offs can last as long as a game of freaking Monopoly.

I think Dazed and Confused kicks the crap out of any movie with the best all time lines. :D

In terms of quality, not quantity, Apocalypse wins by a longshot.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning" is worth 10 Platoon quotes.
  • as good as platoon is, nowhere near the quote king.

    waynes world is UP THERE....

if your gonna spew spew into this
it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine
    excalibur
    phil, your partied out, AGAIN

god that movie is full of them, i still use them. i wore out a VHS tape.

as for platoon my fav lines are:

you smoke that shit to escape reality? I AM REALITY.

the only thing thats gonna kill barnes, is barnes
