Ah, the 1994 World Cup album. I laboured over that for months. I was so proud when I finished it. What a beautiful way to spend one's pocket money.

    I remember everyone at school collecting stickers during the 1978 World Cup. Fuck, I'm old. :o

    I always liked the way the world cup ones had the name of each country in the language of that country. Aged 6, I already knew that Greece was called Hellas. How cool is that? :D

    Got the Mexico 86 album, had to send off to finish the collection. Had a double of Maradona, damn that was a major trade!

    I kinda love how desperate we are to get you lot interested in our game...and you don't give a shit!
    I mean, we gave you the world cup! and you just went, "oh, Marjorie, this is fun, I love these flags....what are those guys down there doing again?"

    As for Panini stickers.....oooh mama, don't get me started!!
    Those shiny club crests were like cut diamonds in our school,... in 1979. Spesh the West Brom one :D

    As lifelong football player I'm insulted! ;)

    The only reason I had one was because I was stuck working in a desert town that had a grocery store and a burger restaurant. So to kill time, we'd buy the album and sticker packs watch the games and gamble our players away whilst getting piss drunk. Entertainment was tough during the pre-internet days :)

    Do you still have it?? I have them since Spain 82, and Im not that old jajajaja.
