The Transportation Security Administration said Friday its officers at a Texas airport appear to have properly followed procedures when they allegedly forced a woman to remove her nipple rings --

but having nipple rings and not thinking it would set the metal detector of is the fucking epitome of stupid.

on a lewis black side note, people who have tattoos shouldn't be parents. being that irresponsible doesn't change.

    i would never think that a piercing would set off a metal detector. it's not like my earrings set them off...not that much more metal w/ a nipple piercing.

    I have an insulin pump that's attached to me and whenever I fly I have to go to this "special" unit. They run a cloth over my pump and then check the cloth thru some machine to make sure it doesn't have any 'explosives' on it.
    Lovely........I'm used to it but it sucks for the people I travel with. They have to wait for me............

    poor thing Pixie.....I have to carry my portable nebualizer (breathing machine) with me and I feel sorry for the people behind me going through Security because they have to wait for them to take it out of the box and make sure the liquids all have my name on them along with being in their correct bottle....it's a pain in the ass traveling when you have a medical condition!! :(
