what's suicide girls?
It's an alternative layout site to the Maxim's/Playboy's etc out there. Provocative shoots with girls that aren't airbrushed and don't have to be celebrities. Typically with tattoo's/piercings as well.0 -
Merlin, what is your friend's stage name for SG? I just want to examine the artistic display of her shots.PJ- 04/29/2003.06/24,25,27,28,30/2008.10/27,28,30,31/2009

I guess it's for people who have low self-esteem. When you have the opportunity to take a thousand pictures and pick the best ones and then pretend that's what you look like and then get loads of comments saying "OMG, zo pretty!!!11!1!", it must seem like a dream for people who hate the way they look. I knew of a girl through some friends and, to see her myspace pictures, you'd think she was a very pretty, girl of average size. When I met her in real life she wasn't half as nice-looking and twice the weight that she looked in photos. There's nothing wrong with that at all but I thought it was sad that she was creating a different version of herself for people online. The wonders of flattering lighting and angles...
I have been guilty of creating faux-arty ones once or twice to amuse myself though. It's ok because I know I'm fooling no one"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
I guess we all do what it takes to get laid.0

or to attempt to get laid.

The only reason I don't do it is because I know how desperate and stupid it looks. My friends would never stop making fun of me if I were to try it.
In fact, when a friend of mine introduced me to the world of myspace a couple of years ago, he said, "There's actually people who dress up all nice for their pictures...hahaha."
I was like oh I guess I know what not to do. And I suppose that makes me even more fake than the people who do it. At least they're not afraid of looking like idiots.0 -

Or maybe they think we're the idiots for not dressing up and think we present ourselves like slobs? With as many of those kind of people that are out there, this could be the majority as well.0 -

OffHeGoes29 wrote:Whats with people that post pics of themselves on Myspace. You know the types the take pics of them posing infront of their bathroom mirror or laying provocatively on the couch. I see more and more of that now, its kind of funny to me. I see it with mostly chicks dressing up just to take pictures quick pictures of themselves like they are on the cover of Maxim, or some ass hole flexing or showing his six pack? My Ex had pics like that of herself on myspace while we were dating.....I guess thats one of the reasons why shes my ex?
I find it kind of funny.......even more so if I had some picks like that.
people do so here...why not myspace?
some people enjoy the attention/validation apparently. hey, if people want to share pics online....that's their business. i don't have a myspace, doubt i ever would...or at the very least, it would be private. then again, i really don't fool myself with believing internet + privacy actually exists. i am all for pics and sure, sharing......but email/PMs/in person all work for me if i truly want someone to see me. bottomline...it ain't my thang, and i most definitely would think twice about someone who posts such. then again i am already married....so i don't care in the least! whatever blows your hair back, eh?Stay with me...

I'm not sure of the name she used. I never looked it up online. I don't have an account there so I never bothered. I do have a printsheet of her layout thought and some other pictures.0 -
One of my best friends is like that. He has these supposedly random pictures but you know they're completely staged.THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

I do see some kooky pictures. Some people just love themselves to death. These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0

You mentioned that she gets a lot of the criticism from women and more compliments from men. I'm not surprised by that now, but just a few years ago in my teens, it's always been that girls are usually more complimentary to one another (and guys do too- but the guys just want to get in their pants). But you'll never hear guys complimenting on another guy, not that much anyways.
Man competition is more out in the open, whereas the women are much more complex (I think). Or just a lot of jealousy going on.PJ- 04/29/2003.06/24,25,27,28,30/2008.10/27,28,30,31/2009

Yeah you got it perfectly.
Oh it was so funny seeing the guys react to her doing it. After they found out of the photo shoot I was at, they became the most two faced people it was comical. To me, they became all cool and friendly rather than an acquaintance I knew because of her. Then they'd just 'casually' bring her and her pictures up and try to see them etc.
Theeeeen they'd talk to her, remember these are the guys that always had a crush on her and wanted to just get in her pants(which I don't blame them, she's a completely awesome person inside and out). The same guys telling me how cool she was for doing it, and how cool it was for me to be there and that I didn't care were starting to try and get her to second guess her choices. They started putting the moves on her big time with "Are you sure you wanna do this? Guys are just gonna think you're easy and treat you like trash now and just get into your pants because of who you are. You won't get respect anymore. I'm cool with it you know, but I mean I'll still treat you with respect. You won't get that from a guy if you decide to move on anymore."
All kinds of crap like that. It was quite funny.0 -

oh yeah self-confidence is one thing, but some pictures border on cheesy..but it's mostly the aspiring models I find..or not. These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0 -
Even worse are the guys who add model profiles and then post comments like, "Hey thanks for the add. Let's hang out sometime."0
