Hey guys,
i am asking you all for some help. i am cycling 45 miles in the lance armstrong livestrong challenge in philadelphia. and i need some help raising some cash! its on august 24th, and my goal is $350. As of right now i have $150.I have relatives who have died from cancer, and i am proud to be taking part in this ride. I recently quit smoking for a healthier life, which led to me finding a love for cycling. i recommend it immensly for the exercise and stress relieving benifits.     good luck on the ride! i just did the ACS bikeathon in july. it's such a great experience! i really wanted to do the lance armstrong ride but i have other stuff going on that weekend. have fun!

    and congrats on quitting smoking & getting healthy!

    I quit smoking in Dec 06 and started walking which led me to doing a 10 mile run/walk this past year for a cancer support organization in my area

    This should be a great experience for you!

    thanks for the support guys, and thanks for the donation peacegirl. you are awsome! im hoping to ride 175 miles next year for MS, with all the work pearl jam does for charities, and the charity pre-parties before shows by fellow fans, i feel the need to try and help out anyway i can. and for anyone who wants to donate, im not asking for alot, anything you can give will be appreciated. all the money goes to a great cause...helping cancer patients survive, thanks again to peacegirl for her donation!

    yes..everybody who smokes drop your cigs, save your lungs and body, pick up a bike and leave your cars too..fuck wasting money on gas. Bike to work and keep our air cleaner too ;)

    lets do it people..we can all make a difference and feel good about it ;)
