    and that show wasn't stupid at all! it was like Sex and the City with old ladies and funnier!

    One of my favs...Sophia is talking to Dorothy while slaving over the stove:

    Sophia: When I feel bad, I have to take my mind off it. There's only one thing that does that to me.

    Dorothy: Cooking a big meal?

    Sophia: No, making love in a closet!

    I remember watching it every saturday night when I was stuck at home with babysitters. I never got any of the sexual jokes, but I got the feeling it wasn't appropriate for my age level :).

    the golden girls was such a well made and funny show. I liked it as a kid and i know that the show was a real comfort to older ladies who had lost husbands ect... Probably one of the best cast and writing on a show
