I've posted this on the porch too... but I think it also belongs here:

Wanna organise a PJ meet up in November in your locality? Wanna do it for a good cause? :)

Well Hippiemom's anniversary is coming up on the 8th December and, in honour of the pit member and friend we ALL loved and respected, wouldn't it be great to have a get together in her memory and helping out some good causes along the way?

Anyway, I've gotten a list of some of the charities she helped from her family. One of them is wishlist. I'm still waiting to hear back from wishlist to see if they want to take on the financial side of things... so that part is still unclear.

If anyone has any ideas or recommendations in the meantime, please feel free to voice them here!

    I just read the post in the Porch. I won't be able to make a Midlands meet up I'm afraid. At uni at the moment and financially crippled to boot :o I hope you get lots of people though :)

    If I can get out of this hell hole of a job assignment I'm in, I'd gladly help out. But looks like I'll be up here through November only going home for Thaksgiving.

    I've only just seen this... but you probably guessed I'd be in anyways ;)
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
