Holy fuckin shit, how hot is Tony looking in this :eek: I've no volume (gonna have to sort that out :D ) but just lookin at him is making me feel all strange and excited :D mainly cos HE'S BACK!

My bf and I are currently going through all the boxsets at the mo in preparation for day 7... we're halfway through day 3 right now.

    Tony Almeida is my man crush. I was devastated when he "died". I caught the 24 bug last summer and ran through all the box sets in no time. I was pumped for season 7 and then the writer strike. The movie should kick ass.

    My friend and I are both hoping that Tony is only bad because he went deep under cover.

    Days 3 & 4 were the best IMO.
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    I only guessed he's bad (no volume) cos he's got his bad ass face on! He makes me go all funny every time he comes on screen and I usually make some kinda involuntary 'ahhhhhh' noise :D I too couldn't believe the fuckers 'killed' him... what were they playing at?

    I dunno.. I think bad Tony may be even sexier :eek: but yeh, I'm guessing he's gonna come good :) ahhhhhhh... so excited.

    So what's the deal with all of the promos on Fox showing Jack in (what appears to be) Africa or something?

    I thought this was the promo for the beginning of last year, that didn't occur because of the writer's strike.

    That's just a one-off movie length feature. It's actually a condensed version of the storyline that 24 writers originally wanted to use for the upcoming season. Fox had rejected the budget. At least this was what the reports were in the newspapers when it happened...this goes back over a year ago.


    EDIT: I see you've found your answer re: Redemption

    One more EDIT: Wikipedia offers a bit of a different accounting of how the Redemption project came to be...either way, the details of that don't matter to me so much...I'm psyched for the movie AND the new season!

    That promo is sooooooo old its not even funny. Its from before the writers strike when they had only filmed 2 episodes, all of that stuff will be in the premiere.

    Also, basically they were unhappy with the season and they stopped filming last month to "re-tool" the last HALF of the season.

    The movie will air in November and will bridge the gap between 6 and 7. Introducing the real villian, played by Jon Voight. Speculation is that Tony is "bad" but is working undercover for the FBI. Also you had to know Tony wasn't dead because in the episode he "died" there was no silent clock at the end of the episode. like there was when they've killed off every other character in the show.

    that may be the speculation... but it's too obvious really! So I'm thinkin he really IS bad... or it's his evil twin :D either way... I'll be rooting for Tony 'cmon Tony, kick Jacks ASS' :)
