Had a great weekend, the move was a bit of a disaster... I decided to pull an allnighter before moving so was wrecked by the time I got here. Also had to leave 2 suitcases at home and pay 90euro just to bring a second one :eek: why the fuck can you book up to 20 cases if it's only 20kg per person? Stupid rules.

Also I'd planned to sleep on the flight... got stuck beside the person who can never shut the fuck up.

Absolutely gimme a couple of weeks to settle in and we'll sort something out. It's so weird that everyone else has to work and stuff. We were out last night with his friends bowling and cinema. He'd to go home after bowling though cos he was up at 5.30 this morning :eek: but I hung on and it's strange just going to the cinema and not the pub :eek: it'll take a bit of getting used to, lol. I've got into bad sleeping habits but hoping to sort that out soon. Not drinking this week.... well til the weekend anyway

Ah we were in the pub saturday night with Chris and Jody and met loads more people... everyone's seriously friendly here

And there was beer at the bowling, lol.

They're all being really helpful. Two of his friends girlfriends said they'd take me shopping soon and another is off today so said I could call over if I get bored... it's like the mafia lol. But it's great, there's such a big group of friends and they just automatically accept you as another one. Doesn't seem to be any bullshit or snobbery so I reckon I'll fit right in . This week I'm just taking it easy... had a few plans for today such as unpacking and the likes but I reckon I'll just stay online for a bit and I might even have the dinner ready when he gets home :eek: what the fuck's happened to me?

Thanks Sian (except for the 'better country' crap, I could do without that thanks ). As of right now, my plan is to take October off and not even think about work. I'm getting £150 a week for doing nothing anyway. And once November comes I'll start sorting out my cv etc. But I could get bored in a couple of weeks and decide to get started. Until I find a job I might do some voluntary work or something so I don't turn into a total slob. And when I look for a job I'm certainly not going back to what I was doing. I will either look into barwork (during the day) or just do some temping... nothing stressful. I might even do that course in photography I've been talking about who the fuck knows?

thats the shittest thing about England... well apart from all the people and the queen... but that their pubs close at 11pm or something shite.. i remember being in Lodnon with Don and this wee bell rang at 10.30pm and i got all excited thinking maybe a miniature train might be coming or it was a bell to notify punters that the schoolmistress stripper was coming on in 10minutes ... but NO... it was last fucking orders. at 10.30pm.. in fucking LONDON?!?

we have creches open longer than that up here.

LMFAO... fucking tell me about it... 24 hour drinking me arse. You have to go out early and plan where you're going to go...not like in Dublin, the pub closes and you think 'hmm... where's open now?' and within a minute you've 5 more places you can go. Easy to find somewhere til 5 anyway.

I was able to transfer my jobseekers allowance... I've been paying taxes 12 fucking years and working hard so I really don't give a fuck which government is paying me but your concern warms my heart

as if I'd fucking have YOU here lol, well that's definitely something that will happen at some stage... oh the bf goes to Glasgow and other places in Scotland quite a bit (can't remember any other place in Scotland) so maybe sometime I could get a lift and say hi. Never been... but he talks very fondly of the place
