Buying land on the moon!

Is now the time to purchase your plot of land on the moon? How does that work? Do you go to NASA and say 'take me home please' and will you actually HAVE legal ownership to this land when/if the time comes that we have to move there?

I love that site... I mean come on... basically theyre gonna throw a piece of paper onto the moon with your name on it . We're not even there yet and they're planning on how they're gonna litter it.

Besides, what if you get there and there's a Martian family already living on your land... can you say 'well yes, actually my name IS on it'? :eek:

I bet when ya eventually get to visit your new home... that's when you'll discover that a lunar acre is actually only 5 inches squared.

Damn straight I just bought some land!

Since the lunar acre is only 5 inches square, looks like I've got a lot more property to buy. I plan on owning the whole Northern Hemisphere one day....

what you don't know is that you can't even buy a tent on the moon... never mind build a house AND it's pretty fucking cold there

as fun as that sounds, I don't think I can afford the price for the fuel on those flights.....so I'll pass now :(
