    We've already had above average rainfall for July... and it's only 9 days in :eek: :o so no, we shouldn't be used to it. Gone apparently are the days when we used to get a summer and a nice summer at that :( now we seem to have somehow landed the monsoon season :(

    I suppose I shouldn't tell you that where I am from we have mostly sunny conditions 70% of the time all year round. Even when it's cold the sun is shining.

    I feel your missery, it's just the same here and the weather reports say that it's not going to change much for the rest of the summer :(

    I'm actually part Irish myself (it's where I get my red beard) so I hope we accept Irish folks here in Idaho. I mean, basically as long as you are white, we'll accept you...

    It's hot and humid here..:(. It's supposed to get cooler only for the humidity to come back Sunday. bleh...

    Yeah its actually freezing here in sydney at the moment. Well freezing by our standards, you'd probably be swimming in this weather

    My grandparents came out here from Wales 50 years ago in the middle of winter and the first place they went to was the beach and they couldn't believe their eyes when the place was totally deserted. I guess we take some things for granted

    :D well I still have a BIT of a tan from only two really good weekends... but I'm losing it... I need to top it up. And I've all these lovely summer dresses and can't wear em :( think I just will anyway :)

    I concur. This weather sucks.. it's pissing it down and doesn't look as if it'll stop. :(

    Have they said that it's going to last all Summer now? I'm going on 'holiday' to Bournemouth in August. This might just confirm my desire to go abroad next year.
