December 3: Jeff's Comments on the New Album

Dave Chicago, IL: Why did you guys choose to work with Brendan O'Brien on this album? What has been his biggest influence on the recording process so far? Thanks and keep on rockin in the free world!

SportsNation Jeff Ament: (6:10 PM ET ) We trust Brendan with our music...all of us...that's the bottom line really, to let someone that we trust in to the new music....it's going real good so far....

Nathan: Santa Clarita CA: When can we expect the new album?

SportsNation Jeff Ament: (6:16 PM ET ) we're working on it...this one's souffle-like so it might take a while.

San Francisco CA: Are you playing any other instruments on the new album?

SportsNation Jeff Ament: (6:56 PM ET ) I played everything except the drums on 6 of the tunes....

Very souffle like? Does that mean more layered delicate parts put together to make real rockin tunes ala Yield and No Code? Sign me right the fuck up.
