I'm not a big art guy in terms of musuems, but the getty center in los angeles is incredible, especially the views.

    it's really nice for sure. the medieval manuscript collection is awesome....i accidentally set off the alarm there :o lol

    heehee there was this one book in a case, illumination to *die* for, so pretty...i kept leaning over to get a closer look, and it went off :o:o:o we went into the elevator shortly after and my friends busted me out to the security guard that i was the one who did it. he threatened to cuff me...if he was cuter i wouldn't have minded :D lol

    very nice indeed.

    i highly recommend the Getty Villa in Malibu. see their antiquities collection before Italy forces their hands to send all the good stuff back.

    Incredible place, indeed.

    Even more incredible the fact that there's no admission charge.

    Just walk in, catch the tram and be awed by all that surrounds you inside and out. What a gift to the world.
