That's What he said before the game tonight. I know he's a bad coach/team president but now he's delusional:

“I believe that one day that we will win a championship here,.And I believe a couple of these guys will be a part of that. And I believe I’ll be a part of that.

“And as I sit here and I say it today, I know people will laugh even more at me,” Thomas added, acknowledging the modest gap between his faith and the public’s belief. “But I’m hellbent on getting this accomplished and making sure that we get it done. And I’m not leaving until we get it done.”

Was once one of the greatest point guards ever.
Now just an old ex-player who can't coach and over pays his players - some of them aren't even on the team anymore. i.e. Penny Hardaway, Steve Francis, and Jalen Rose is on ESPN doing reports.

what has Randolph & Curry done for them, nothing.

Channing Frye is probably laughing his ass off in Portland, right now.

:D Larry Brown only had one season with them. I guess Isiah did Larry a favor by getting rid of him. But I think they had bad blood back with the Larry Bird & Pacers thing.

that's why coach should NOT be GM at the same time.

I think they'll owe him a ton of money either way he will be gone by the end of the year.

    Oh my.
Were you able to keep a straight face when he said that? Or were all of you reporters too busy letting out a collective groan.....

He may be right, Stephon Marbury might be given a job when he's 84 as an usher at MSG, and Eddy Curry will have a job selling popcorn at the concession stand when the Knicks next contend for a title in 2062. (Thats when they'll finally be out of the salary cap hell/plethora of traded away 1st round picks that Isiah has bestowed upon the franchise)
    This weekend we rock Portland

I worked as an usher during Isiah's championship years with the Pistons. I stood right next to their bench for both years. Isiah will always be a hero of mine, but he probably does need to be let go. I am grateful we have Joe Dumars running our team.
the whole world will be different soon
the whole world will be relieved

It was tough. Obviously you didn't want to laugh when he was there. I think everyone just had a look of disbelief like did he just say that and then when he left, jokes like "when's the parade" were thrown around..

Maybe this is what happens when you smooch on Magic Johnson too much? ;)

Are they still paying Allen Houston???

And there's also a whole bunch of Cablevision customers whose bills go up everytime the Knicks buy somebody out, or grope a marketing exec.
